Thanks to all who participated! We sorted through a number of entries, and selecting our top five favorites was quite a task, but they were definitely outstanding and noteworthy!
If LMNT visited your hometown, is there one place or event you would take them? Be as descriptive and alluring as possible. Make us jealous you live there. Make us want to call our travel agent so we can join you. (Bonus points if you keep the holiday season in mind, by the way.)
Our five winners will receive a copy of "Juliet," the latest LMNT CD single, via FedEx! A surprise prize—an 8x10 photo of their favorite LMNT member—will arrive by mail in two weeks. The LMNT Holiday Impromptu winners are listed in alphabetical order order:
Kathy B., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Liz F., Scranton, Pennsylvania
Irene M., North Fork, California
Malyssa M., New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Canada
Erica T., Waipahu, Hawaii
Their respective entries follow below:
KATHY B. – OTTAWA, ONTARIO
Judges' note: We broke the rules with this entry. Kathy wrote new lyrics to the tune of LMNT's "Juliet" single and it just charmed us away! We couldn't say no to this fabulous entry, especially in the joy of the holiday season!

HEY LMNT!
(To the tune of “Juliet”)
Hey I’ve been watching you
From afar and it makes me blue
Why don’t you come and see
What its like in “the True North, Strong and Free”?
E-mailed Ikaika twice
But I got no replies
Been writin’ Rosie O.
To see if she’d put you on her show.
‘Cause I really gotta see ya
I’m the biggest fan of ya
So why you make me do without ya?
Don’t ya know I
Really love ya?
(Hey LMNT)
Hey L-M-NT!
You guys are heaven sent
Maybe one day you guys will play for me
I just want you to know
It’s really cool up in the snow
Hey L-M-NT, Hey L-M-NT
Guys, you got me on my knees
Beggin’ please, baby please
Sent the best DJ up Ottawa way
A request to play Juliet today
But they don’t know you yet
The CD they can’t get
If you came up here to play
Canada’s DJ’s would be blown away
“Cause I really gotta see ya
I’m the biggest fan of ya
So why you make me do without ya?
When you know I
Really love ya?
(Hey LMNT)
Hey L-M-NT!
You guys are heaven sent
Maybe some day you guys will play for me
I just want you to know
It’s really cool up in the snow
Hey L-M-NT! Hey L-M-NT!
Don’t be afraid if it’s cold out
The fans are warm; you’ll be sold out
So why you make us do without ya
I’m shoutin’ out all about ya!
It’s like I’ve waited forever
Don’t say it will be never
So – hear – me – when – I – say
Hey L-M-NT!
(Repeat chorus to fade)

LIZ F. – SCRANTON, PENNSYLVANIA
If LMNT came to my hometown I'd make sure they had a good time. My city does lots of stuff for the
Christmas season so first I'd take them ice skating. We'd drink hot chocolate and have a great time fooling around. Next, I'd take them to see my local orchestra play a Christmas show. I know LMNT would appreciate the music and get into the holiday spirit. They would get a chance to relax and watch other artists perform. Last, I'd take them to my house for a home-cooked meal. Then, after dinner, a movie to relax. I think LMNT would enjoy this day.
IRENE M. – NORTH FORK, CALIFORNIA
I live up in the foothills in a town called North Fork—it's the exact center of California. It's a rugged, yet quaint little town. It's downright gorgeous especially if you enjoy nature. We have the most beautiful sunsets anywhere in the world. You even have the opportunity to see wildlife if you keep your eyes open. You don't need a swiming pool, we've got lakes, with hot springs not too far away. We're a small private community, yet just an hour away from Yosemite National Park. We get snow in the winter, but just enough to enjoy, not so that it becomes a nuisance. If you're looking for a place to relax in a beautiful quiet atmosphere, North Fork is the place to come.
MALYSSA M. – NEW GLASGOW, NOVA SCOTIA
If Ikaika, Bryan, Mike and Jonas were to come to New Glasgow, Nova Scotia I would want to spend the day getting to know the guys more. However where it is the Christmas season - - and I love Christmas as most people do, I would probably take them to the family owned Christmas Tree Farm that my family goes to every year and we'd pick out a tree to put up in my backyard (since they probably couldn't take a tree back home to the States!!!) Then we'd put it up and put lights and decorations on it. And as much as I'd want to be singing 'Deck the Halls' and 'Jingle Bells' along the way I'd most likely leave the singing and actual talent part to the fabulous four. (I do have limits ya know!) And then I'd ask the guys what they wanted to do. I live in a really small town that doesn't have a lot of places to hang out at so we'd most likely go for a hike in the snow, or maybe go skating on an outdoor rink that's set up in one part of! our town or drink hot chocolate and eat homemade cookies. (They'd probably have a relaxed vacation more than a busy activity packed one.) Most of all I'd just want to chat to the guys and find out more about them- - what they like, what they don't like, family traditions of the holidays and I'd share some of mine. I'd also have bought them a little Christmas ornament from our town or at least province as a keepsake of their 'vacation'.
ERICA T. – WAIPAHU, HAWAII
I've always wanted LMNT to visit Hawaii. If LMNT came to visit my hometown, I would take them to a Christmas play that my school(St. Joseph School) is sponsering because that will be a season of people coming together and being happy with your family and friends. The play will consist of students performing Christmas songs in an addition to the play. The play will be taken place at a huge stadium called "The Okinawan Stadium" where hula dancers usually practice. It will be so much fun and the people there would all be one like a huge family.
CONGRATS TO OUR WINNERS, and once again, thanks to all who joined on the holiday impromptu! Stay in touch with your nearest LMNT street team representative for future LMNT events like these! And be on guard for the LMNT full-length CD release, slated to hit a store near you this coming spring!
