WHAT: The 25th Annual
World Othello Championship - benefiting The Children's Aid Society WTC Relief
Fund. The spirit of New York will challenge the world as the Boys' and Girls'
Clubs of New York City challenge Othello champions from Australia, Belgium,
Canada, The Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, The
Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Awards will be given out and a
check will be presented to the Children's Aid Society WTC Relief Fund.

Note: Established in 1853 to serve street children in New York City, The Children's Aid Society has grown to become one of the city's largest nonprofit, nonsectarian providers of services for children and youth. They are responding to the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center with emergency assistance for children and families in need, helping service workers such as waiters, clerks and janitors at the World Trade Center, crisis outreach from 37 sites including community centers and schools as well as preventing prejudice and intolerance.
