Meagan just turned 18 last week. The Backstreet Boys are getting ready to release their anticipating album "Millennium" on May 18. Meagan still had her little crush on Brian. She was going to do all she could to get with Brian and not let Nick know of course.
"Hey Brian!" Meagan exclaimed. Brian waved from across the room. She walked over to Brian.
"How are you?" he asked.
"Good.You?"
"Happy. I guess." Brian smiled.
"Do you wanna go do something tonight?" she asked. Brian smiled and thought about what Nick had said to him 2 years ago about dating Meagan, but she is now 18.
"Sure. I'll pick you up around 6 and we can go see the new Star War movie." he said.
"Okay. That sounds good." Kevin was listening on the conversation as usual.
"Meagan remember what Nick said." Kevin gave her a glare.
"But I am 18. It isn't that big of a deal. Now is it?" Meagan started to whine.
"Well no, but it is to Nick. I am going to keep my mouth shut so I suggest you keep this secret from Nick." he said. Meagan nodded and smiled. She saw Nick walk in.
"Hey do you wanna go see the new Star War movie tonight?" Nick asked.
"Umm no.. that’s okay. I already have plans, but thanks for asking." Meagan smiled.
"Okay. But trust me you are going to have to see it."
"Trust me I will." Meagan thought.
"Oh no! What am I going to do now? Hopefully Nick wont go by himself or he does what happens id he sees me and Brian together?" her head filled with thoughts. She really didn’t know what to do. She could call it off with Brian and go another time. Or she can go and be happy? Meagan pondered on what should happen. Meanwhile Howie and AJ were on their way to the press conference.
"Should I tell Meagan?" Howie asked AJ.
"Do whatever you want."
"You're a lot of help. If I tell Meagan that I am in love with her and if Nick find's out. My gosh I'd be dead." Howie said.
"Chill out D. Nick won't kill you. I don’t even think he knows Brian still loves her." Howie turned toward AJ with a serious look.
"Does she still like him?" Howie asked.
"Well it's only obvious." AJ said. Howie really liked Meagan ever since he saw her at Nick's house for the first time. But when Nick had that talk with Brian he gave up all hopes, but since she's 18 it shouldn’t be a big deal. Howie wasn’t sure if she liked him back, but all he had to do was ask. AJ pulled into the radio station. There were a couple of hundred screaming fans. As they got out their body guards Tom & Jake secured them as they walked into the station. Howie saw Brian and Meagan flirting.
"Why couldn’t she like me? Plus Brian is dating that one girl anyway. I wonder if Meagan knows?" Howie thought to himself.
"Hey Howie how's it goin?" Brian asked.
"Good I guess." Howie shrugged and walked off.
"What's bothering you?" Nick asked.
"Nothing." Howie barked.
"Jeez someone got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."
"Shut up Nick." Howie walked off and sat down backstage in a chair.
"What's bothering you? I saw you yell at Nick back there." Kevin said.
"Well it's Meagan. I really like her and I have a feeling Brian still does too, but he's going out with that one girl or whatever. I just hope he isn't going out with Meagan." Howie let out everything he wanted to say.
"Are you going to tell Meagan?" Kevin asked.
"Yes, but I don’t want to hurt her about Brian. And I am afraid to ask her out because I am afraid of what Nicky might do to me." he said.
"Howie don’t be worry about it. Just tell her how you feel. I am sure everything should be okay from there." Kevin said.
"Thanks Kev." Howie got up from his seat and started walking towards Meagan. He wanted to get this whole thing done and over with. As he got closer he overheard Brian and Meagan talking about the movie they were going to see tonight."
"I hope Brian doesn’t continue seeing her. He just going to end up hurting her." Howie thought. But when he was about to talk to intercom came on.
"Backstreet Boys wanted on stage." All the boys wanted out the door and headed to the stage. Meagan stayed backstage and thought about tonight with Brian and how finally getting together with Brian was finally coming true.
"Tell me why? Ain't nothing but a heartache. Tell me why? Ain't nothing but a mistake. Tell me why? I never wanna hear you say. I want it that way."
Meagan heard coming from the stage. Now all she could hear were screaming fans.
"How about one more question."
"I am sure you guys have been asked this before, but I personally would like to know how you feel about *NSync?" Meagan started to laugh. She wanted to hear what their answer was going to be.
"Well I personally think they are nice guys. I have nothing against them. They are just like us trying to make music." Kevin stated.
"Do you all guys agree?"
"Yea, because they are trying to make music for everyone to enjoy." Brian said. Nick nodded his head agreeing with what Kevin & Brian just said.
"Well thank you for being here guys. Don’t forget go pick up Millennium on May 18." the guys got up from their seats and walked backstage.
"*NSync are nice guys. Cut the crap Kevin you don’t like them." Meagan joked.
"Yea. I was really going to say I hate their guts." Kevin said.
"It would've been funny."
"I don’t feel like being mobbed by *NSync fans wherever I go." Kevin said. Meagan ignored what Kevin had just said she was paying more attention to Brian talking on his cell phone. Brian smiled at Meagan and hung up his phone and walked over to her.
"Hey I have to go, but I'll see you tonight." Brian said giving her a hug.
"Okay later." Meagan smiled. She watched Brian walk out of the room. Nick walked up to her.
"Hey Meagan do you wanna go see Star Wars?"
"Nick you dip shit you already asked me that. Go find someone else." Meagan gave him an attitude.
"Man, sorry I forgot." Nick walked off. She knew that was close once again. She wondered hat would happen if Nick found out?
- That Night -
Meagan put on her black jeans and black low cut shirt on. She put her hair up into a ponytail. She put on some make-up but not much though, she didn’t like wearing it. HONK HONK! Meagan looked out the window and saw Brian in the car. He waved she waved back. Meagan checked on how she looked and grabber her purse and walked out the door.
"Where's Nick?" Brian asked.
"He said he was going to go out with some girl tonight." she said. Brian started up the car and drove off. Meanwhile Nick went to pick up his formal girlfriend Mandah.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
"Well I wanted to go see Star Wars." Mandah rolled her eyes.
"I thought this would be a get back together thing." Mandah gave him an attitude.
"I told you. I don’t wanna go out with you anymore. You are just trying to use me." Nick said.
"Fine! You're thinking like that I don’t wanna go then!" Kailey shut the door in his face.
"I always knew she was a bitch. Why did I even think of taking her to the movies tonight? Stupid Carter." he said. Nick got into the car and drove off. He decided to go to the movies by himself. Brian and Meagan arrived at the Movie Theater.
"Two tickets for Star Wars please."
"That will be 6.25 sir." Brian handed him the money and grabbed the tickets.
"Want some popcorn?" Meagan nodded.
"Two popcorns and 2 Pepsi's please." Brian smiled
"That will be $10" Brian handed him a $10. They handed them the Pepsi's and the popcorn. Meanwhile Nick pulled into the theater.
"One ticket for Star Wars."
"That will be 3.25 sir." Nick handed him some money. Got his ticket and walked into the lobby. He went and got some popcorn and then walked into the theater. As Nick walked in he thought he saw Brian and Meagan, but maybe he was imagining things.
"Brian! Nick is here." Meagan said trying not to point.
"Oh shit! Hopefully he didn’t see me and you."
"Well he just looked at us." she said. Meagan knew she was going to be dead when she got home from the theater
