-Next Day-
Meagan started to get ready to go over to Brian's house.
"Nick you still aren't mad at me are you?"
"No, I realized that it is your business and not mine." Nick said.
"Good."
"So where are you going?" Nick asked.
"I got a call saying Brian wanted to see me tonight at 7."
"Don’t you think it's a little early to start getting ready? It's only 5" Nick said.
"I gotta go over to Howie's first. I have to return his CD that I have had for like ever." Meagan laughed.
"Okay. Well I guess I'll see you later." Meagan grabbed the CD and the car keys and headed out the door. She arrived at Howie's house 20 minutes later. Meagan knocked on the door.
"Hey Meagan what's up?"
"Here's your CD that I borrowed like a month ago." Meagan laughed as she handed him the CD.
"I was looking for that. Come in."
"Howie, I can't. I have to meet Brian." Howie slightly smiled.
"Oh."
"What's wrong Howie?" Meagan asked as she walked in.
"Nothing." Meagan knew he was lying.
"Howie please tell me what's bothering you. I know there is." Meagan said. Howie turned around. He wanted to tell her so bad.
"Really there's nothing."
"I am NOT leaving until I know why." Meagan demanded as she walked over to the couch and sat down and made herself comfortable.
"Okay fine. But you HAVE to believe me." Howie said. Meagan nodded.
"Brian is cheating on you. Brian really didn’t tell AJ to call you it was a plan. So you would catch them. And not only that, but the whole reason was for that you would go out with me." Meagan sat there and didn’t say a word. She only could think of why Brian could ever do such a thing.
"How long?" Meagan asked.
"They've been going out for almost a year." Meagan buried her face into her hands and began to cry. Howie walked over to Meagan and sat down beside her and gave her a hug.
"Is 'she' over there now?"
"Yea, that's why Brian never wants to see you on Tuesdays. He is always with her."
"Can you drive me over there? I would like to give Brian a piece of my mind." Meagan whipped her tears and stood up.
"I'll drive you." Howie grabbed her coat and keys. Howie drove Meagan over to Brian's house.
"I am not so sure about this Howie." Meagan said.
"If you wanna find out the truth Meagan here’s the chance to go and do it." Howie smiled. Meagan sighed and stepped out of the car and started walked up the stairs to the front door. Meagan turned back around and looked at Howie. Howie mouthed 'Go' Meagan rang the doorbell she heard laughing and giggling. The door opened with Brian standing there with nothing but his boxers on.
"Meagan what are you doing here?" Brian looked surprised.
"Who's that Brian?" called a woman in the background.
"No one." Brian pushed Meagan outside.
" I am no one? I am your fucking girlfriend you idiot!" Meagan yelled.
"I know you are my girlfriend." Brian said.
"Well then why are you here outside in your damn boxers with a woman? And don’t say oh it's just my mom." Brian didn’t know what to say. He realized she had caught him.
"Yea, I don’t understand why I even bothered. Nick said you'll just end up hurting me." Meagan walked off with tears in her eyes.
"How could he do this? Nick was right all along. I can't believe he would just go and do something like this to me. And the day after we had sex? What is that boy thinking?"Meagan thought as she walked to the car.
"I saw what happened. I'm sorry." Howie hugged Meagan.
"Howie can I stay over at your place? I don’t feel like telling Nick he was right." Meagan said.
"Sure." Howie smiled. Howie started up the car and drove home. Meagan walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.
"Howie what were you saying earlier about you liking me?" Howie froze. He didn’t remember telling her.
"It’s nothing really." Howie lied.
"How long have you liked me?" Meagan was going to get it out of Howie weather he liked it or not.
"Since Nick introduced us. But when I heard Nick telling Brian to stay away I gave up until I knew Brian was cheating on you." Howie said sitting down on the couch.
"Well I am glad you told me. You just saved me a lot of heartache and pain." Howie nodded. Meagan leaned in and kissed Howie. How sat there puzzled and confused.
"What was that for?" Howie asked. Meagan smiled and kissed Howie once again.
"Just because." Meagan sighed. Howie saw something that was good. So he went for it. Howie kissed her. Howie liked being around her. She enjoyed Howie being there for her. Howie started unbuttoning her shirt she started to take off his.
'Is this right? Should we be doing this? I mean Howie and I are just friends not lovers. But could that work?'Meagan thought as Howie kissed down her neck.
'Could this be right? I mean Nick would seriously kill me if he saw what Meagan and I are going, but I love her so much so this HAS to work.' Howie thought. Howie and Meagan eventually moved into Howie's bedroom. Meagan pulled of the rest of her clothes and reveled her beautiful body to Howie. Meagan walked to the bed and Howie climbed on to Meagan. Howie entered her making Meagan moan. She couldn’t get her mind of what Brian had just done to her. Meagan moaned once more. She felt good at that moment better than he had just felt. She closed out the thoughts of Brian and just concentrated on Howie.
"Are you okay?" Howie asked as he now laid beside her.
"Howie.. I don't think this should go on any further. I know you really like me and everything but Nick would so kick your ass. He still didn’t like the fact Brian and I are together." Meagan said climbing out of bed.
" I understand. I thought about that. I have had these feelings for so long everything just kind of came out." Howie said sitting up.
"I am so glad you understand Howie. Let's not anything weird go between us." Meagan said.
It's a deal." Howie smiled. Meagan gathered her clothes and kissed Howie on the cheek and headed out into the living room where she would be sleeping for the night.
