Jodi Garrelts March 3, 2003

Jodi has lived in Illinois since 1974. She's an independent musician from Genoa who writes and  records instrumental music from her home studio. Her main instrument is guitar, but she also plays bass and a little keyboard. Artists who have most influenced her  guitar playing are Brian May of Queen and Joe Satriani. Jodi's music is very unique and dynamic. She is very interested in music for film soundtracks and games, but she is not limited to any one genre and likes to work on  different projects.

Two very talented people that have crossed Jodi's path in the music world and have   had a big influence on her are Mike and Merry Starr of Starpiks - they helped her get started in doing her own recording and producing in 1999.

Jodi has performed with bands of mainly rock and blues genres, such as Silent Thunder, The Genuinz and Bitter Twist.
