EYECANDY 4000 (Trial Version) OPTIONAL
SUPER BLADE PRO (Trial Version)
SIMPLE FILTERS
DC SPECIAL

It is Sir Frank Dicksee and it is entitled "Miranda". Thank you Nancy for taking the time to let me know who the artist was so I could give proper credit.

1. Open up your image in PSP, Shift+D to make a copy of your image, and close the original. We will be working on the copy of the graphic.

2. Set your background color to white (#FFFFFF). Layers/New Raster Layer. Click on your floodfill tool and floodfill your layer with the white background color. Masks/New/From Image and select the SNFloral Corner mask from the dropdown menu under the Source Window. Source-Luminance checked. (see below)

3. Selections/From Mask. This will put ants around your mask. Then, while mask is still selected, go to Masks/Delete. Merge Mask into current layer?? YES.

4. Effects/PluginFilters/FlamingPear/SuperBladePro and apply your favorite BladePro preset. I'm using Holly Gold. Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel using these settings: Pillow preset using default settings EXCEPT change the elevation to 30.

5. Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow using these settings: Opacity 100; Blur 2; Vertical 1; Horizontal 1.

6. Layers/Merge/Merge All (Flatten). With background color set to white (#FFFFFF), go to Image/Add Borders 8 pixels symmetric checked.

7. With magic wand (tolerance 0 feather 0), click on your white border to select. Effects/PluginFilters/FlamingPear/SuperBladePro and fill with your gold preset. Selections/Invert. Apply cutout. I used Eyecandy 4000 Cutout Matte Cut effect using the default settings. Selections/Select None.

8. Background set to white (#FFFFFF), go to Image/Add Borders 25 pixels symmetric checked. Click on your magic wand (tolerance 0 feather 0) and select your white border. Effects/PluginFilters/DC Special/PerssianRug with these settings: Xposition 37; Yposition 31. **NOTE: If you are using a different graphic, your settings may be different for the PerssianRug filter. I am adjusting the sliders so that no white is showing around the outside of the gold frame. (see below)

9. Selections/Select None. Background color set to white, go to Image/Add Borders 25 pixels symmetric checked. With your magic wand (tolerance 0 feather 0), click on the white border to select. Selections/Invert. Selection/Modify/Contract by 25. Selections/Invert. Effects/PluginFilters/DC Special/PerssianRug with these settings: Xposition 31; Yposition 28. Selections/Select None.

10. Background color set to white (#FFFFFF), Image/Add Borders 20 pixels symmetric checked. With magic wand, select your white border. Grab your dropper , run it across your graphic, select a color from the graphic, and floodfill your selected border with it. I selected the dark blue shade from the graphic. Go to Effects/PluginFilters/Simple/Diamonds. Then apply a cutout. I used the Matte Cut effect in EyeCandy 4000 using the default settings. Selections/Select None.

11. Background set to white (#FFFFFF), Image/Add Borders 8 pixels symmetric checked. With your magic wand (tolerance 0 feather 0), select your white border. Effects/PluginFilters/FlamingPear/SuperBladePro and apply your gold preset. Selections/Select None. Resize to desire size, remembering to go to Effect/Sharpen/Sharpen after each resize. Save as .jpeg.
