In October 2002 the Hoando as the sanctuary housing the Dai-Gohonzon was finally completed. Nichiren Shoshu commenced on a series of Tozans following the Enshrinement ceremony on the 12th October.

The completion of Hoando was the culmination of the 750th Anniversary Celebrations which began on 28th April and continued with the Tozan of 300 000 and the Three Commemorative Tozans for the Overseas believers which finally ended in the beginning of December. |
