Stocking Fund

The Committee have agreed in principle to allocate £5 out of your membership fees each year to a stock fish fund.  This will start this year 2004.  This money will be used to address the imbalances of fish stocks that have arisen over the years on waters where we have secure leases or which we own.  Just as important as stocking is habitat and water quality improvements which are essential to sustain higher densities of fish . If money isn’t spent one year it will build up so that we can afford bigger more expensive fish including Tench, Crucians Carp etc Restocking of the Island Lodge is our next priority once we have confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the water quality which we have had tested.

Coffin Lodge  The repairs to the banking on the coffin lodge are now complete, and water levels are returning to normal.
