Background: Well, what can be said about (tilt head upward and use maximum reverb when saying this) "The Luckiest Man in the World" that hasn't already been said? I have never met a human being who possesses the sheer amount of good luck that this guy does. To be fair, many of his victories are legit and have come through honest play and intelligent decision making. He is a "gamer" in the true sense and is usually eager to play anything. However, one look at his record in the game Bohnanza hints at the kind of lucky streaks few men have known. In addition to the game table, his luck has extended to winning super bowl tickets, several state and local lotteries, door prizes at major department stores (tv, satellite dishes, etc.) finding money on the streets, and even winning rigged state fair games. He is a wizard, a true star.

Addendum:
In February 2002, Mike H. Humes passed away.  A victim of lung cancer, Mike will not be forgotten by myself, nor anyone who met him.  I'm sure he's waiting for us up there with a GOOD copy of Naval War, ready to take on all of us.
