Frequently ASked QueStions
by Ken

In the interest of holding your...interest. I have decided to answer some of those Frequently Asked Questions (or FAQ's) you may have.

How often do you guys play?
Whenever we can.  Most of the time we get a decent turnout, but I only do game reports on those sessions with four or more players. So sometimes, it may be a while before you see a new game report.

Just what is the RFPHL hockey team you have on your menu page?
Another group of friends I have run a fantasy hockey league called the Real Fine Playstation Hockey League. I have recently become the owner of the Dallas Ken Stars. Before each season, we draft real NHL & minor league players and the games are simulated using a Sony Playstation.   I do not play any of the games myself. However, their web site has a neat message board where all the updates, news, and basic "what my team's goin' ta do to you" threats are carried. It's been a real hoot so far. And I hope that one day, my team actually gets into the semi-finals.

What's this facination with Magic: The Gathering?  You're starting to scare me...
Well, since the summer of 2001, my little group has been getting smaller 'n smaller.  I spend most of my gaming time on Magic: The Gathering.   Yes, it's the work of the devil, but it also allows me to compete against 20+ people each week.  Not to mention the almost 500 players I went up against during the 2002 Regionals.

However, whenever the ol gang gets together, I will post up a session report.

How did your gaming group get started?
Back in the spring of '98, my friend Mike & I would play Stratego and other two player games. At the same time, mutual friends of ours would drop by every week to watch movies or Mystery Science Theater shows. Well, as soon as I purchased Titan: The Arena, a gaming group was born.

Not too many sites on your links page, what's up with that?
I'm mean!  That, and I've included a link to an Open Directory that will get you to most of the better gamer sites out there.

What are your favorite games?
Obviously, Titan: The Arena is the foundation of all our gaming. Lately, our Power Play League has taken off and Bohnanza seems to be that nice, quick little game that even non-gamers can like. For more of our fave games, check out our bio's.
