One man's journey through Magic: the Gathering

Okay, I play Magic: the Gathering...yes, I admit it.
I began this hobby back in May, 2001.  So far, I've competed in many small tournaments and
a few larger ones.  This page is dedicated to those efforts.

I call it "feeding my ego".

Editor's Note:  Why "Drifter Magic"?  Well, call it my inflated ego or just another way to get attention, I suppose.  A few years back, I was getting tired of wearing ballcaps, so I purchased  a western-style fedora for $20 at Wal-Mart.  Putting it on immediately changed my look to "cowboy".  At my first FNM tourney, I showed up with the hat, plus an long, black military coat which only enhanced this image.

Since most Magic sites and indeed most Magic players are from large cities or urban areas.  So, much of the writing imagery is modern.  Since I'm older than many players and reside in a small town, I thought
that evoking a more "western" feel would set me apart.

There, I said it...and I'd say it again if I had to.
