Time stood still at the setting of the sun
Turning the tide of this wide ocean
Dark skies radiates with lightning bolts
Thunder rolls and the earth jolts
But you don't seem to be moved at all
Firm convictions, refraining to fall
Deciding to find a new frontier
Ride your spurs and ready to steer.
Are you sure you're all geared up
To take this long, lonely journey?
Before heading out with your cowboy hat
Pick up your chaps, get yourself fed
"It's ust another evening," you said
Leaving the place you knew home
Expecting to meet the angel of death
To wrestle even with your last breath.
What can you accomplish from this?
Leaving the green mountains you love
For cold and lonely glaciers
Do you expect to find your answers?
Or do you care at all?
Painting the skies with your own blood
Battling out all your demons inside
No ally, no army to help and confide.
Abandoning all that matters most
Leaving your companions behind
Hell can be darker than you thought
Take heed, arm yourself
Remember you can always return here
But with no avail, you depart
Riding to nowhere, nothing to lack
And thinking of never coming back.
