Mengambil lokasi di HongKong pd thn ......(entahlah yg pasti agak di masa depan), game ini dimulai dengan munculnya dua tokoh utamanya yaitu Hana & Glas . Keduanya ditambah Deke adalah 'Mercenary' /tentara bayaran yg dibayar oleh seorang taipan HongKong untuk menemukan putrinya yg diculik oleh Triad demi tebusan uang.
Pd game ini anda berperan berganti-ganti: sbg Hana, Glas & kadang Deke dlm usaha menemukan Wi Ming Lan putri sang taipan tersebut. Namun usaha ini tidaklah mudah, tidak saja Triad yg dihadapi namun sedikit demi sedikit terkuaklah misteri di seputar Wi Ming Lan tersebut yg membawa kita ke dunia lain ...............
Hana, Glas & Deke mempersenjatai diri dengan beragam senjata & kemampuan fisik serta kecepatan reaksi dalam menghadapi berbagai musuh yg menghadang baik itu pr anggota Triad yg sangat banyak, bbg monster atau setan utusan dr 'the king of hell', helikopter dsbnya...... . Hmmmm bukan zombie seperti pd serial RE.

Meski secara keseluruhan game ini mirip dengan RE yaitu perpaduan adventure action dg beragam senjata, banyak musuh & boss, beragam teka-teki/puzzle yg hrs dipecahkan & unsur-unsur kejutan serta misteri namun FE diramu dg alur cerita yg dalam dan berbeda pendekatan dalam penyajiannya dengan RE.
Alur cerita yg bagus ini diterjemahkan juga dg sangat baik dalam presentasi gameplay dan grafisnya, semakin jauh kita memainkan game ini kita akan semakin terpikat dan makin penasaran sekaligus juga makin terpuaskan dengan kombinasi tampilan grafis, animasi, FMV & tata suara yg memikat dan saling menunjang.
Dikemas dlm 4 CD tidak berarti game ini dimainkan sepanjang Final Fantasy 8 atau bbrp kali lebih lama dibanding RE3 yg hanya 1 disc. Hal ini disebabkan cukup banyaknya ditampilkan background/gbr latar yg juga berupa gbr animasi pula shg tdk hanya karakternya saja yang bergerak namun juga backgroundnya contohnya mobil-mobil yg bersliweran, kobaran api & asap, peluru berhamburan, lampu dan neon sign yg berkedip, dsbnya.

Game ini bagus (sekali) di semua segi: cerita, grafis, tata suara, puzzlenya, karakter yg oke, animasi yg cool, sound yg realistis, action yg menegangkan & memuaskan serta tk kesulitan yg cukup tinggi ( anda pasti akan sering-sering mengulang krn karakter anda tewas hehehehe...) . FMV nya wah sangat memikat dan terintegrasi dg bagus sekali shg permainan mengalir lancar.
Kelemahannya ada pd hal-hal kecil : gerakan backgroound yg kdg kurang sempurna misalnya berhenti lalu bergerak lagi , kontrol /penggunaan tombol yg perlu penyesuaian bagi yg terbiasa dg setting tombol pd RE series. 4 keping CD juga mrpk kelemahan krn tentu saja bikin lebih mahal jadinya, tapi nggak apa-apa koq krn terkompensasi dg nilai game ini sendiri. lokasi savenya
utk bbrp situasi agak jauh shg ngulangnya sering kejauhan.

Komentar: Bagi penggemar adventure action FE ini mrpk game wajib : apalagi yg sdh mulai bosan dg model Resident Evil nah game ini menyajikan sesuatu yg segar & menantang. Eventually come a game better than Metal Gear & RE 3, agree ?

Profile: Deke walks the fine line between aggressive and psychotic. A large brooding man, Deke is attractive to women, but not a pretty boy. Working with Deke is like making a deal with the devil: he's extremely effective, but he leaves a wide wake of carnage and bloodshed. Unlike Glas, Deke is not profe- ssionally trained.
