This page is dedicated to all men and women out there struggling
with breast cancer but especially to my sister who had begun her
own journey and struggle with it in Feb. 1998.
She's now completed her treatments about 3 years ago and
so far is cancer free still.

I asked her permission before starting this special page and she
granted her permission for this, telling me maybe someone out
there might read it and have more awareness then she did and
possibly find it sooner along with learning
more about this terrible disease.

saddened update...... on May 12th, 2002 this horrible disease only alittle over a month after finding out it wasn't arthritis she was dealing with but indeed breast cancer that had metastasised into her bones contributed to her passing. DON'T
sit back and think, well it's only an ache and I don't want to be a complainer
or bother to someone, don't try and be the nice quiet little patient that says nothing....... speak up, yell if you must to get their attention, be a pain if you
must but don't let things pass....... push for frequent bone scans, don't let the
Dr.'s deem your treatment, it's your life, take control of it and fight for your
life if you must.

alot of them for you and provide you with
some information as well as some links
where more questions,
support groups etc can be found.
Awareness is the number 1 concern here, if
we know the facts then we can prevent the
more severe concequenses and
catch this disease in time to cure it.
