"I'm glad that's over with," Brian said collapsing onto his bed. They had just performed at one of their biggest concerts while in Europe. Even doing a "quick out" didn't prevent them from being mobbed as they left the venue. "Does it seem like our fans here are more daring and demanding?" he asked no one in particular. The guys were all in Brian's room trying to decide what to do. All except for AJ who was hiding in his room. Something he'd been doing the whole entire trip. They'd been in Europe for a week and a half and AJ had only been out of his room long enough to do their shows and promos. Brian was starting to worry about him.
"Well, we could rent a movie, go to a club, or just go to sleep," Kevin said glancing through the entertainment portion of the newspaper.
"A club?" Nick whined. "I hate clubs."
"You hate everything," Brian teased throwing a pillow at him.
"Yeah, well, my life isn't hunky dory happy like yours," Nick complained tossing the pillow back at him.
"Girl problems?" Howie asked looking over at Nick.
He shrugged. "Something like that. Crys is just complaining because I'm never home and stuff. She does this everytime we come over here. I don't know what she expects me to do."
"Hmm," Kevin said thoughtfully.
"Maybe you should dump her and go after Catlyn," Howie murmured picking up a magazine and hiding a grin behind it.
"Catlyn? Why-" Nick was interrupted by AJ walking into the room.
"Brian, I was wondering if-" AJ stopped as he locked eyes with Howie. Howie's grin disappeared as he glared at him. He stood up suddenly and stormed out of the room. They could hear his door slam as he walked into his room.
"What the hell?" Kevin asked looking at AJ.
"Don't even ask," he said sighing and walking out of the room.
"This is getting ridiculous," Brian said sitting up. "What is going on with them?"
"I don't know," Kevin shook his head. "But I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Kyndall."
Nick was quiet, staring at his shoes. He felt two sets of eyes on him. Looking up, his face flushed. "What?"
"Do you know what's going on?" Kevin asked, studying Nick's uncomfortable expression.
Nick shrugged. "No, not really. I hafta go make a couple of calls. If ya'll decide what you want to do, come get me," he said walking quickly out of the room.
"He knows something," Brian said watching him leave.
"Yeah. And I've never known him to keep a secret from you," Kevin said looking over at Brian.
"He's not gonna tell me. If Catlyn told him something, then it's going to take more than his best friend to pry it from him," Brian commented laying back on the bed.
"Catlyn? What do you mean?" Kevin asked, his curiosity peaked.
Brian shrugged. "There seems to be something going on with Nick. I think he's falling for her. But that's not a good thing considering how much she is against a relationship. She's even told him that she'd never consider anything with him. Even if he WAS single. But I don't think that's stopping him from falling for her."
"Wow," Kevin said. He looked over at Brian quickly as yelling suddenly erupted from the hallway.
"I don't give a fuck," AJ said glaring at Howie. "You don't control me, and you don't control Kyndall. She can talk to who ever she wants to."
"She doesn't need to or want to talk to you. How many times do you have to be told that. Leave her alone," Howie glared back.
"Since when are you the expert on what she needs? You obviously can't fucking make her happy or she'd have fallen for you instead," AJ retorted.
Howie's fist connected with AJ's jaw. "You know nothing," Howie said lunging for AJ again.
Kevin and Brian burst out of Brian's room, running towards the guys as AJ went for Howie. They pulled the two of them apart, Brian holding onto Howie, and Kevin holding AJ. "Get the fuck off me," AJ growled, his eyes shooting daggers at Howie.
"Let me go," Howie said. "I'm okay. I'm done." Brian let go of Howie slowly. Howie pulled his shirt straight, his eyes on AJ.
Kevin released AJ finally. "What the hell is going on?" he asked looking from AJ to Howie.
AJ looked at Kevin. "It's none of your fucking business. Go back to your happy existence and let me get back to being miserable because of Mr. God-Forbid-AJ-Tried-To-Be-Happy over there," he said waving his hand over his head as he walked towards his room.
"It isn't about you being happy," Howie yelled. "It's about you fucking with other people's emotions," Howie yelled at him as AJ gave him the finger before walking into his room. Looking at Kevin he sighed. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry," Howie said softly shaking his head.
"You have to let us know what's going on," Kevin said.
"I know," Howie sighed. They walked back into Brian's room, and Howie told them briefly about what had been going on between Kyndall and AJ before they had left for Europe.
