Epilogue

"Hey sweetie," AJ said as he wrapped his arms around Kyndall.

"How ya holding up?" They had been on tour for a month now, selling out in arenas and stadium all over the US in a matter of hours. All of the girls had joined the tour at some point or another, Carmen and Kyndall the only ones that seemed to be a permanent part. Leighanne had her acting, Shawna was helping her sister with the baby, and Crystal and Nick couldn't be around each other too long before they were ready to kill each other.

"I'm okay," Kyndall smiled. "Fans can be tough," she laughed lightly showing him the scratches on her arm from one crazed fan that didn't like the fact that she was with AJ.

"Aww," he said kissing it tenderly. "I'm sorry."

Kyndall stroked his hair lightly. "It's okay," she said softly. "I'm here with you, that's all that matters."

AJ jumped on the bed sprawling out across it. "I am sooo tired. I don't think I'll ever get readjusted to this," he mumbled tossing an arm across his face.

Kyndall laughed crawling up next to him. "Couldn't be the fact that ya'll put on two shows in one day could it?"

AJ smiled at her from under his arm. "Yeah, well. That's some of it," he grinned.

"Kevin certainly surprised the crowd tonite with his announcement of his engagement to Shawna," Kyndall noted snuggling up to him.

"I think he surprised everyone, including Shawna," AJ said with a chuckle. It had been an interesting event. Kevin had kept it a secret from everyone. He had spent the last month being teased by everyone for his shyness and his hesitancy. Then, tonite, he had Tank bring Shawna up on stage right before they sang "I Want It That Way". Everyone in the building, from the audience to the Boys themselves, was stunned into silence when he asked Shawna to be his wife. Shawna started crying as he slipped the ring on her finger. The guys looked at each other as the silence continued. But somewhere, someone started clapping and cheering; carrying throughout the room picking up voices as it went. The reception of the news was deafening as the fans accepted the engagement wholeheartedly, minus the few fans whose dreams of marrying Kevin had been crushed.

"All in all a good night," Kyndall smiled.

"Yeah," AJ nodded. "Have you called Catlyn yet?"

Kyndall shook her head. "I tried, but she's out. Again. Seems to be doing an awful lot of that." Kyndall tried to call Catlyn every night to see how she was doing and to tell her about her day. Catlyn was happy that Kyndall was on tour with the guys, even happier that Carmen was there to keep Kyndall company.

"At least she's doing something," AJ pointed out.

"Yeah," Kyndall sighed. "I guess. I just miss her."

"I know you do," he said. "But we'll be in Tulsa soon," he grinned.

"Oh yeah," she laughed. "When did you decide Oklahoma was worthy enough for ya'll's presence?"

"We always put Oklahoma on the tour," he defended himself.

"And take it off again in favor of Texas," she teased.

"Anything for you baby," he whispered kissing her softly.

"Anything?" Kyndall asked, a mischievous smile on her face.

"ANYTHING," AJ grinned, his smile matching hers. He moved his face closer to hers, kissing her softly. "Thank you so much for putting up with me, and being with me despite all my idiocies as Howie would call them."

"Well," she smiled. "I love you despite your so called idiocies."

"I'll take that as a compliment," he grinned kissing her again. "I love you too babygirl."
