Houses of Paniya Island
There are a number of Houses associated with Paniya.

Earliest among them is House Chagga. In year 385 House Chagga is established, on the far west end of the plains and on the south . This is the first actual House to be rooted on Paniya, and is still dominated by merchantry and coffee production. Very little else is on the minds of Chaggan folk. They are remarkably adept at dealing with people, money and bartering. Their coffee blends are well known, and they are some of the first to get chocolate from Catena. It is still the most major trading port on this isle.

In year 466 House Tsan Nu established as a silk-worm plantation in the hilly area west of Chagga. They produce fine woven goods as well as raw products for export, but remain a very small House. Their members rarely open their doors to strangers, however when Dawnlight weavers introduce themselves much later, they are very eager to adopt dye techniques from them. These two Houses get along famously and Dawnlight usually handles the more mundane work-a-day while the Tsan Nu folk do the bartering and monetary work.

In year 519 House Faustas plops down on the northern side of Mt Ghera (encircle, battlement - Hindi), and begins a slow land-grab for much of the Triptych area. The House does a lot of medical work, and ostensibly this was their original reason for requesting the Triptych folk become part of their House. Their true reasons are far less kindly.

In 560-561 the Kshau Protectorate arrives to Alskyr. Late in 561 Alabaster Aerie is established, utilizing the diving-bird nests near the tower. Tirin become Aerielady almost immediately. House Paveh is established along with this, utilizing the holders and common folk that had resided around Paveh Hold, Caledrus, and MamaTani’s place. House Paveh is the largest and most aggressive of these folk and represents most of the inhabitants to have transfered.
House Paveh, Tsan Nu, Faustas, and Chagga are part of the World of Alskyr and is no way related to any other written works.
