Most days I've been going for a
walk by the pond near my home. I have to out in the morning as it's too
hot by the
afternoon. In this picture I'm on my way to the post office on the high
street.
While Nicholas was
still visiting, he and Dorothy installed shelving in my kitchen pantry.
In August, The McKenzie
Towne Gardening Club hosts its annual garden tour. Here I am on a patio
surrounded by
a
pond in the garden of one of the participants.
Here I am in my own
back garden in August. The "102" pottery house sign was made by
Granddaughter Kate for
my last house in England. By coincidence, my new house number in Calgary
is also 102!
In August I began
visiting the Ogden House Seniors Centre. So far I've been for the weekly
canasta night, the weekly
bridge group, and for potluck lunches. I've met some nice people and I'll
continue with the centre through the winter.
Dorothy and Nicholas set up a potting shed for me just off of the back patio. Here I am already hard at work!
Here I am on the front
step of my building in August. In front of the building is a lovely green
square, to which
wedding parties have come for their wedding photos each weekend this
summer. I've enjoyed watching them!
