WHAT
ARE THE ESSENTIAL CHARACTER TRAITS OF A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST?

Heart for God – A great or supreme love for God/Christ and
is expressed by an individual’s zealously seeking after, obedience to, and
service for God/Christ.

Teachable –
To be ready and willing to learn or receive instruction; cooperative in
listening with receptivity to instructions, especially from those in authority;
not rebellious, stubborn, independent, or negatively critical.

Eager to Learn
– To be enthusiastic to gain knowledge, understanding, or skills by studying,
experience, and/or instructions; taking the initiative to ask relevant
questions, especially of/to the leader/trainer; being genuinely interested in
seeking to know and understand the what, why, and hows
of issues and people pertinent to Christian living and ministry; humbly
listening to and applying the advice, suggestions, and/or instructions given by
those in authority.

Faithful –
To be loyal, steadfast in allegiance; firm in adherence to promises or in
observance of duty.
5.
Available –
Being ready or free for use, or capable of being used; being present or ready
for immediate use; willing to do something.
