The above picture shows a small portion of the neighborhood. You would rarely see a car on this road, but you would typically find a tricycle (a motor bike with a side car). A tricycle seems to be the method of intra-community travel in the Phils. Clothes are hung outside the front door on wire to dry. Shoes are taken off to enter a home and "inside" shoes are put on. Everything smells of the same disinfectant as everything is constantly being sanitized throughout the day. Little kids would play all around the neighborhood in the evenings visiting almost every little house then moving on to the next. Community is important to their way of life.
