RURAL DEVELOPMENT UNIT

This project which is to develop the rural community into a conducive environment wherein every
youth with find pleasure living there in. CEC have the desire to foster, under the aegis of rural
communities that are revitalized and provided with leadership a type of rural development, all
aspects of which are integrated into a unit which, itself, fits into the governmental plan of action.

The first step will be the creation of guidance and action centers round the country which will have
direct contact with the population. It is through these centers that the youths of Cameroon will
effectively assume responsibility for the development task awaiting them in their social environment

Through self-reliant projects is the domain of agriculture fishery animals and livestock's the CADYF
will empower many youth who usually tend to believe all jobs are created by government and found
only in town.

This project ensures:

That rural areas are developed with community activities.

Guarantee fair price for agricultural products.

Forster the improvement of living conditions in the rural areas so as to make them more
attractive.

Guarantee the provision of basic facilities to enable youth settle and own property.

Establish a better organization for the transportation circuits and distributive networks
concerned with produce.

Encourage the diversification of agricultural products with a view to giving more
importance to food production. CADYF by this project give important to the basic
production sectors of Cameroons economy. Rural community from human stand
point is a tangible

Reality which offers a balanced development frame work, a development pole around which
revitalization activities maybe carried out.

CADYF normally will collaborate with active partners in the rural areas in abide to develop
these community these active forces vary from common initiative groups village development
Associations, women social groups and other active forces in rural areas. CADYF:

Give them necessary education and training

Link them to funding agencies for assistance

Give the market-oriented information

Solicit land for farmers especially women ownership of land

Train them for the exploitation and towards land management and other advantages
that CADYF may have. The CADYF will serve as facilitator. This will give many
youth in dept. Understand of making the most out of the soil.
