We also have this bar with Lemongrass herb and essential oil, a great blend with the patchouli. This gives it a lemony scent with the natural musky scent of patchouli. Yum! | Our basic handcrafted soap is made by mixing sodium hydroxide, vegetable oils and water. A chemical reaction will then occur called saponification and soap is produced. Glycerin is also produced during this process and remains in our soap unless it is removed; our glycerin remains in our soaps for extra moisturizing. Some soap recipes incorporate botanicals, grains, essential and fragrance oils to the soap to enhance the cleaning effects, aid in treating skin problems and for your bathing pleasure. Our soap is handmade and cut so there will be some slight variations in color, size and weight For instance, a soap you purchased today may not look exactly the same as one purchased 2 months ago.
