迦南團契
一九九四年初，一群年輕的自立中華基督教會會友，在溫哥華市喜士定東街之珠城酒樓飲茶時，有感而決定成立一核心小組，於是乎「青年夫婦團契」初創。是年十二月十日由十四位核心組員中選舉出第一屆職員，並正式成立「迦南團契」。自創團始，迦南團友即積極地參與教會內各項服侍，例如關懷年輕已婚會友、擔任教會各部門領導、參與執事會、本拿比分堂、以及國語部事工。所有本會三間分堂的二千零二年執事會均有新舊團友參與。至二千零一年，計有卅四位正常出席團友，另有許多第二代子女伴同參加。團契於每月第二及第四個星期六晚上，於教會小禮堂舉行聚會，歡迎任何人仕參加。上帝賜福迦南團，正如於舊約聖經出埃及記６章４節云：「我與他們堅定所立的約，要把他們寄居的迦南地賜給他們。」，以及詩篇１Ｏ５篇１１節所云「神說：『我將迦南地賜給你，作你產業的分。』」。願迦南團更加為神所用，成為眾人的祝福。

Canaan Fellowship
Canaan Fellowship was stringed by a group of members from Christ Church of China in a brunch dimsum at Pink Pearl Restaurant in early 1994. These members from James Fellowship of the church responded to their own needs and also the calling from God to form a cell group - the Young Couples' Fellowship. On December 10 in 1994, the 14 cell members elected their first staff and set up their official fellowship - Canaan Fellowship.
From the beginning, VCCC Canaanite has deeply involved in church services by jointing in differently ministries and departments as well as the Deacon Board. Its members participated in our Burnaby Church ministry. The Canaanite has also contributed and supported to our church's Mandarin ministry by numerous ways. Former and current members are in all our three church boards year 2002. In 2001, the fellowship has expended to 34 members in good standing. Besides, there are a lot of lovely associate kid members - the 2nd generation. The fellowship meets in church chapel on the 2nd and the 4th Saturday night regularly. Everyone is welcomed to the Canaan.
God blesses VCCC Canaanite. The Lord made an agreement with Canaan Fellowship, to give them the Land of Christ Church of China, the Land of their wanderings. Thus says God, to VCCC Canaanite will I give the Land of Canaan, the measured line of your heritage. (Bible: Exodus 6:4, Psalm 105:11)
