DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Board Officers (1)

Chairperson (2)

  1. shall be the chief executive officer of the board.
  2. shall supervise the other officers of the board in the execution of their respective duties.
  3. shall preside over all meetings of the members and of the board.
  4. shall convene a board meeting at least once every month. (3)
  5. may convene a board meeting upon forty-eight hours verbal or written notice by him. (4)

Vice Chairperson (5)

  1. shall plan for the development and expansion of various ministries of this church.
  2. shall assume the duties of the chairman during his absence or upon his resignation or removal.

Secretary (6)

  1. shall conduct all correspondence of and for this church and the board.
  2. shall issue notices of all meetings of members.
  3. shall keep minutes of all meetings of members and of the board.
  4. shall have custody of records, documents, and the common seal of this church.
  5. shall maintain the register of members. (7)
  6. shall file all necessary reports with the appropriate government offices. (8)
  7. shall make all documents of this church be inspected by members at the church premises upon request. (9)

Treasurer (10)

  1. shall receive and disburse funds of this church.
  2. shall report all financial transactions of this church to the financial secretary.
  3. shall keep financial records including books of account as are necessary to comply with the Society Act. (11)

Financial Secretary (12)

  1. shall maintain proper and complete accounting records.
  2. shall present to the board, on a quarterly basis, financial statements prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  3. shall receive all financial transactions report of this church from the treasurer. (13)
  4. shall render financial statements to the directors and others when required. (14)

Duty Deacon (15)

  1. all non-officer deacons of the board shall serve as the duty officer on a weekly, rotating basis.
  2. shall lead an offering counting team to count the offering.
  3. shall deposit the offering to the bank by assisted from the offering counting leader.
  4. shall be the watch officer assisting pastoral to coordinate worships or whole church events.
  5. shall be the orderly officer to assist church general affairs.
