Welcome to the Home of Eighties Cartoons!

These are all of the cartoons I watched when I was a kid!

I grew up in the Eighties, and like most kids, I watched cartoons. Unfortunately, most of those cartoons have been cancelled since then, and now we are doomed to watch Barney and Bananas in Pajamas (neither of which are cartoons, might I add). Therefore, I decided to revive all of my favorite childhood cartoons in this website. Enjoy!

Thundercats: The Thundercats, as I remember them, were a group of half cat/half man creatures who fought against evil. There were Cheetarah, Lion-o, and a mass of other characters.

Go-Bots: They were the American version of Transformers. Unfortunately the show was short-lived, and this is just about the only website that mentions them. My favorite character was Scooter.

Transformers: Much like the Go-Bots, the Transformers had two main groupings: the Decepticons and the Autobots. There were a variety of different types of Transformers on both sides, including tape cassetes, cars, planes, and trucks.

My Little Pony: This cartoon was one of my personal favorites. I not only watched the show every day, but I also collected the toys. I still have many of them, and I kept them in good shape.

Care Bears: The Care Bears were a very popular cartoon in their day. They even made a number of movies about the antics of the group, and the troubles they got into. The Bears eachheld a different emotion, and their "Care Bear Stare" could melt even the coldest of hearts.

Smurfs: I don't know what child of the Eighties does not remember the Smurfs. With their white hats, white pants, and blue bodies, they fought Gargamel to collect smurfberries for their friends. Many guys watched the show just to see Smurfette come on the screen in her short white dress.Click here to download the Smurf Theme Song! Thank you so much to Dave for sending this to me!

He-Man:

She-Ra:

Voltron: Voltron was basically an early version of the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers. The difference is that Voltron was a much better show, much less cheesy, and their vehicles were cats that formed into one large battle machine.

Snorks:

Gummi Bears: I don't know one person who grew up in the eighties that does not remember the Gummi Bears. With their silly little theme song and their gummiberry juice they bounced right into our hearts. Sunni, the young yellow bear, was my personal favorite, with Tubbi coming in a close second.

Shirt Tales:

Another really cool eighties cartoons page...it has a lot more shows on it than I have here...check it out!

Yet another good eighties page...one of the better ones that I have found, at least!

A theme song page I found while surfing. Not too shabby, considering there aren't many out there.
