The streets of Innsbruck. Innsbruck's population is under 200,000, however it is famous and has hosted the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics. They have a lovely ski jump with a view of a grave yard below. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of either of those. The streets were still neat. |

As there weren't enough rafters we stopped at this little chrystal place. The gift shop was HUGE. |

Our hotel was near this intersection. When going for a walk we discovered that there were a lot of active people- roller bladers, walkers... But the bank machine wasn't so easy to find. |

The famed Golden Roof (Goldenes Dachl) built in the 15th or 16th century in honor of Maximilian´s second marriage, to Bianca Maria Sforza of Milan (Maximilian was a ruler who expanded his territory through marriage, not conquest). Not wishing to alienate the allies gained by his first marriage, to Maria of Burgundy, he had an image of himself between the two women painted on his balcony. |
