Avignon to Lyon to Fontainebleau
More of France
This was out meeting place.  Wanted to go for a ride, but didn't.
The streets of Avignon.  Very close to where a mime stole my water- and then tried to give it back.  Without a flare for the dramatic, I walked away.
Avignon was the center of the Catholic Church for a short period of history.  This Palais des Papes dates back to the 14th century.  There was a flute playing busker outside.  He was amazing!
A cool pic from our short walking tour of Lyon.
The Chateau de Fontainebleu.  Francois I and Napolen both lived here.  Since the 17th century, every queen and empress of France has slept in the Queen's Bedchamber.
