One exception is A Strange Manuscript Found in a Copper Cylinder which is considered Canada's first science fiction novel. It was originally published in  London, England, by Chatto & Windus in 1888 and was serialized in Harpers Weekly in the U.S. during the same year. It was finally published in Canada by McClelland and Stewart in 1969.

More recently A Strange Manuscript Found in a Copper Cylinder was reprinted by Bakka Books and is now available.
