William Gibson
Author William Gibson was born in the US and emigrated to Canada in 1968. He now lives in Vancouver. Gibson exploded into the international SF scene with his debut novel Neuromancer by winning  the "triple crown" of SF; the Hugo Award, the Nebula Award and the Philip K. Dick Award. Neuromancer is now considered to be the definitive Cyberpunk novel. Other major works include Burning Chrome, Count Zero, Mona Lisa Overdrive, The Difference Engine (with Bruce Sterling), Virtual Light, Idoru and All Tomorrow's Parties. His latest novel, Pattern Recognition is both a British Science Fiction Association and an Arthur C. Clarke Award finalist
