Today I watched my husband stand in the cold, pouring rain and give his coat to a drunk Native American homeless man that he had never met before. Some of you are reading this with as much awe struck joy as I am writing it. For the rest of you, Jesus is what is wrong with us people. (smile).

Jesus is making a difference at Can Alley.
George smiled. He knew our names and he accepted our respect. He is kind and gracious. He still avoids talking about Jesus, but is open to prayer.
Joseph cried. What can we offer these men? Potatoes, sleeping bags, and hope. These situations are so beyond our ability to even make the smallest difference. This is the foolishness that confounds the wise. But you know. When you see someone smile, or someone cry because Jesus has reached out through you, you stop trying to understand. We are in totally over our heads, but we have a friend who can walk on water.

God Bless you.
Thankyou for your prayers.
Love, Jodi
