Upper Northbound Range Light -Gatun Locks, measures 6”Lx6”Wx5.5”H. Each sculpture in the collection is artistically hand painted on cold cast resin.  Comes with History card, which reads:  This range light presents a sailing line that aligns ships with the lock entrance.  Because it is so close to the Canal, this concrete tower was designed for beauty as well as function.  Concrete is very important and very stable, which is necessary because of the frequent earth tremors.  It also stands up to the driving rains and high winds.  Prior to the use of solar panels, all of the light towers were operated from a central switch station at Gatun Locks.  Now they are automated.”  This beautiful replica represents the operation of the Panama Canal and is a must have for anyone that is looking for a unique souvenir of their visit to the Panama Canal.  Gatun Locks Upper Northbound Range Light $30.00 plus shipping and handling.
