In 1990 A-ha back with their new album: "East Of The Sun, West Of The
Moon".
Some critics thought that the name was so pompous for an album, but the band said: that the name is part of the Norwegian folklore.

This time A-ha could look back on four albums and a leggale of hits that
have become classics, multimillion sales across the world and recognition and respect for their music, with the album.
"East of The Sun West of The Moon".They want to create art and they did.
November (3): Crying In The Rain (remake of the Everly Brothers), Top
the charts on # 6 US and UK 11.
East of The Sun; With 10 tracks written by Furuholmen and Waaktaar.
And produced by Chris Neil and Ian Stanley, reaches UK # 2.
December (15): After 13 consecutives top 30 singles "I Call Your Name", stalls at UK # 44.
Songs like: "I Call and Sycamoure Leaves" are more reminiscent of groups likeThe Doors with some hippy influences no doubt, now Morten was humbering away more peasantly; Pal a strumming nicely and Mags had a conscious move away from synthesisers and making a nice jazz sounds
in "The Way We Talk" (beautiful one), with "Early Morning"
(my favourite), they showed that
A-HA has a special place inside the
music world.
