In that time Morten Harket, worked
on his first solo proyect called
"Poetenes Evangelium". Wich is
an album made up enterely of old
Norwegian folk and poetry songs.

The contents of this album it was
dedicated enterely about the life of
Christ, the album was done in his native tongue.

In this album Morten showed to his fans the great respect he had for his
background and religion. With A-ha and his own work Morten had time
to record a song for the soundtrack of the movie "Coneheads" , he remake
a cover of the song of Frankie Vallie´s song: "Can´t Take My Eyes Of You".
