| Pal Waaktaar Savoy now with additional surname of his wife Lauren Savoy, formed a rock band named "SAVOY". The band are integrate by: Pal on guitars and vocals, Lauren on vocals and guitar, Frode Unneland on drums and Greg Calvert on bass. Pal and Lauren: Compose, produce and write the music for Savoy. Their first album: "Mary Is Coming " was released internationally. Savoy played live in the famouse punk club in New York. CBGBīs a very important place for musical artist especially in the punk and wave style the most famouse artist present their music there: Police, Blondie, Ramones, Siouxie and the Banshes, Christy Hind and Savoy. "Mary Is Coming", debut at # 1 in the Norwegian chart with the single "Velvet". |
| Morten Harket angry with Warner Bros, changes his record company and sign with BMG/ARISTA. For release a new single called "Heaven Is Not For Saints". Wich is not included in any of his albums, Harket performs live in The Spektrum Auditorium in Norway. He played music from his first album "Vogts Villa". Mortenīs second solo album done completilly in his native tonge. The albumīs first and only single "Tilbake Til Livet". Charted in the norwegian top 20. Morten again toured Norway with a new band called The Locomotives. In the same year he was the main hostess in the Festival Eurovision Song Contest. |
