A resident of Hudson. Later a member of the Grand Army of the Republic in South Dakota Burnside Post #24 in Cavour, Beadle County. His GAR record states that he was a native of Canada and was born in 1841.

  24. Newcomb, J. J. was a member of the 28th Cavalry [?] and possibly the 4th Infantry. Rank: Canada. Later a member of the Grand Army of the Republic in South Dakota Calvin Duke Post #143 in Sturgis, Bonhomme County. GAR records list him as being from Canada, but states no birthdate.

  26. Rainy, William was a member of the 29th Infantry, Company E who mustered in on August 21, 1862 and mustered out on June 22, 1865. Later a member of the Grand Army of the Republic in South Dakota.

  33. Traux, Jacob was a resident of Finch, Canada who enlished with the 3rd Wisconsin Infantry on April 22, 1861. He was wounded at Cedar Mountain and transferred to the VRC on November 15, 1865
  34. Wright, Lambert 3rd Infantry, Company I
  35. Young, Roger B was a member of the 2nd Cavalry, Company M who mustered in on September 26, 1864 and was mustered out on June 12, 1865. A resident of Janesville. Later a member of the Grand Army of the Republic in South Dakota C. C. Washburn Post #15 in Egan, Moody County. His GAR records lists him as being a native of Canada born in 1844.
