late night in my sleep
i see the light shinin
brighter than the day
late night in my dreams
i hear the Gods speakin
wit words i cannot say
late night while in bed
my mom smiles at me seeing the look on my face
late night in my sleep
my dad says he loves me
wit gestures i can't trace
late night past the dead midnight
i feel my heart at ease,
with all the stresses gone
late night in my unconcious state,
all my dreams come to life and the sadness turn to fun
but early afternoon when i'm wide awake,
my smiles fade away COZ i think of you still!
