The Seabee arrived in Palestine in 1947 and was one of the first planes in the fledgeling Haganah Air Service. It's 215 horsepower engine drove a rear mounted propeller. Lacking experience in water operations, air service pilots flew the Seabee from land-based airstrips only.
On 15 May 1948, it was destroyed by an Egyptian Spitfire which attacked S'de Dov Airport.
