Perhaps the happiest woman in Port
Huron last night was Mrs. Milton Smith, wife of Milton Smith, who until a week ago
last Wednesday had been first assistant engineer on the steamer Charles S. Price.
Mr. Smith sent his resignation to the Hanna office from Duluth and was succeeded
by a Mr. Reynolds of Cleveland. Besides his wife they have six children, the
oldest of whom is 11 years old.
