Sea Is Too Rough for
Tug to Lighter Boat

The tug Tischer (sic), Capt. Tom Reid in command, towing the barge Kilder house arrived at Sarnia early this morning from Port Frank. The wrecking outfit left the Canadian town yesterday noon to go to the wreck of the Northern Queen and lighter the vessel. They succeeded in getting along side and lightered the vessel of a considerable portion of her cargo. Along in the evening the wind came up and sea began to increase. Captain Reid after sticking it out as long as possible, was forced to weigh anchor and steam away towing the Kilderhouse with him. The Fischer left Port Frank at 12 o'clock last night.
