ARZE MacINTOSH LOST HIS
LIFE WHEN THE PRICE
WENT DOWN

St. Clair, Mich., Nov. 14 - From the tossing waves of Lake Huron comes the body of one of St. Clair's three men, who lost their lives when the steamer Charles S. Price went down with all hands sometime Sunday Night. The lifeless form of Arze MacIntosh, wheelsman was identified on Thursday night as he lay among his comrades in the little morgue at Port Frank, Ont. The remains were sent to Port Huron this morning and will be brought to his late home in north St. Clair some time this afternoon. MacIntosh was 23 years of age, and leaves a father, mother, three sisters, and two brothers as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Milton MacIntosh, of Pugg St., St. Clair; Mrs. Walter Smith, of St. Clair; Miss Eliza MacIntosh, of Detroit; Miss Nellie MacIntosh, of St. Clair and Lee and Manson MacIntosh of St. Clair.

The bodies of Charles Hartman, first mate, and Howard Mackley, second mate, have not been recovered. Undertaker Gilbert is at Goderich, where he will try and identify the bodies of the other two St. Clair men when they come ashore. Mr. Hartman was 32 years of age, and resided at 508 Trumbull street. He is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and had a light complexion. His upper and lower jaws were filled with gold bridge work and he was quite bald. He also wore a ring with the initial "C", surrounded with several small diamonds. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers and one sister as follows: Huber Hartman, of St. Clair; Capt. Augustus Hartman, of the barge S. D. Warriner; and Mrs. William R. Edwards, of Duluth.

Howard M. Mackley, was 25 years old, and resided at 708 South Sixth street. He was 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighed 180 pounds, dark complexion, hair was partly grey, and a tiny scar on his upper lip. Like Mr. Hartman he wore a signet ring with the old English letter "H". He leaves a widow, his parents and three sisters and three brothers: Mrs. Samuel Brines, of St. Clair; Mrs. Wm. Werner of Adair; Mrs. August Schneider of St. Clair; Chris Mackley, of Los Angeles; and Harry and Tom Mackley of St. Clair.
