Often times older (and some new) color TVs will contain a potted voltage multiplier to increase the voltage output of the flyback. These come in several shapes, sizes, and ratings. The terminal configurations often vary as well. The big thick (usually rated at 40kV) is obviously the output lead. You will have to determine the input leads of your specific multiplier. A little experimenting will find the terminal configuration in a few minutes. Here is a picture of an old voltage tripler I pulled from an RCA color TV awhile back:
