2 cups dried mushrooms
1 large onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp oil for frying (optional)
1 Tbsp. flour
4 cups hot water
salt and pepper to taste
Soak mushrooms overnight. Drain and wash well. Add water to cover mushrooms and boil for 15 minutes.
Drain and rinse again and set aside. Steam fry or saute onion and garlic in oil. Sprinkle flour over the onion and add hot
water to make a smooth paste. Add drained mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 15-20 minutes.
