Rabin and Local Politics

On November 4th 1995, Yod Alef in Heshvan, HATASHNAV, Yitzhak
Rabin, Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the State of Israel, was
assassinated by Yigal Amir. He was shot in his back by two hollowpoint
bullets created by Hagai Amir (Yigal's brother), as his body guard was
wounded. In less than 90 minutes, he dies in Ichilov Hospital (at 23:14).
Rabin's death came as a shock to some people, and it was expected
by a few others, and unfortunately hoped for by more. Even now, every
couple of weeks we hear of a few more "rotten apples." A couple of
months ago it was three students who adore Yigal Amir, later it was racist
expressions relating to this in last year's Bagrut in Ezrahut, and even this
week it was discovered that students still adore Yigal Amir. With all these
"rotten apples" we can't even see some healthy apples, who decide to
look the other way.
