The Final Step

For  dignity and independence.

I stand with thousands of silent women taking a stand against the repression imposed upon us. We are the survivors of domestic violence living in hiding.

Many have accepted our existence, too scared to fight the system. I am confident that The Protection Program for the Victims of Domestic Violence will give these dynamic women an opportunity to regain their dignity, independence and become thriving members of our society.

As we were made so well aware of by
Nicole Brown Simpson, women who have been abused are never safe from their abuser. We seek support from our government for women who seek relief from a life of fear.

It is difficult to imagine all the things a woman must give up when trying to live safely. I have prepared a simple list of some of the
Rights and Privileges that the survivor must give up to remain incognito and untraceable.

    Under
The Protection Program for the Victims of Domestic Violence the survivor would be able to enjoy much of what most people take for granted.
