The Robertsdale Public Library. with it's growing collection
of audio and video materials, is ready to meet the needs of
the surrounding communities. A totally computerized card
catalog system, a large and comprehensive periodical collection,
and a friendly and knowledgeable staff complement this modern
library, which was constructed in 1992.
An extensive reference department and the pending connection to
Faulkner State Community College mainframe will supplement the
resources available to the library partons. Also, an Inter-Library
Loan service, through the Alabama Public Library System located in
Montgomery, allows access to thousands of literary sources not found
in this area.
In addition to it's well-stocked collection of over 25,000 titles,
which includes many of the latest bestsellers, the Robertsdale Public
Library sponsors various children's and community activities, from
well attended and enteraining Summer Reading Programs to the elaborate
and elegant Annual Garden Luncheon and Fashion Show. Young people and
adults of all ages can find something of interest at the Robertsdale
Public Library!
