Well thought out and powerful words on desecration of our flag. I would never do so, disapprove of it, but feel it is 'symbolic' and, if it allows people to vent rather than assaulting innocent bystanders or the police, then it should be legal. I must s y though, that anyone who hates the American flag enough to spit on it or stomp it, should be first in line at the airport on their way OUT of the country! Found your site while I was helping my grand-daughter look for items on drunk driving. The poems are beautiful, sad, but true.
