The New Hampshire
Law Enforcement
Memorial Page

Over the years, with the first officer's death recorded in 1921, 37 officers have given their lives for the residents of the State of New Hampshire.

One day in August of 1997, law enforcement in the State of New Hampshire suffered a tremendous blow. Two New Hampshire State Troopers were shot and killed in the line of duty by a deranged male who later went on to kill two more people and injure several other officers before being stopped. A few days later, the same scenario was again replayed, and a young police officer in Epsom was shot and killed.

These events caused this site to be created by a police officer who wanted to show his respect to fellow law enforcement officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice. This is a private site and not affiliated with any one group.

In 1993, the dream of a Memorial to the fallen officers became a project. Many people and organizations have worked hard and contributed money to help bring this memorial to a reality.

The New Hampshire Law Enforcement Monument is located, fittingly, in front of the Legislative Office Building (LOB) in Concord, our State's Capitol.

Even though the monument was built and dedicated in September of 1998, money is still needed for prepetual care, please consider sending a contribution to:
