Doorway

The Chattanooga Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) is a 21 man regional tactical unit. Members are chosen from veteran applicants who pass stringent physical, psychological and firearms proficiency tests. Team members are on call 24 hours a day and work regular duty assignments in patrol, narcotics, training and investigations. The team handles hostage/barricade situations, serves high risk warrants and provides dignitary protection.
