At 5 years old when I first saw Errol Flynn ride his horse across the screen as Robin Hood, I was hooked.  I am here to tell you even today I get goose bumps everytime I see that scene.  He became my hero then and still is to this day, whether he is a privateer Captain Geoffrey Thorpe saving England from peril or Wade Hatton saving the American Western frontier.

While growing up, other girls my age hung up pictures of Tom Cruise or Mel Gibson on their walls.  I hung up Errol's picture!

One day I came across a book at a used books store that facinated me.  It was
My Wicked, Wicked Ways by Errol Flynn.  It was one of the best autobiographies I ever read.  This book shows his flair in life outside the movies.  This is when I found out, to my amazement, that I shared an important day with my favorite swashbuckler.  We share the same birthday, June 20th.

Now join me in my tribute to my favorite actor, Errol Flynn.  Then tonight, go rent a Flynn flick to fully appreciate this great swashbuckling, charming, Earl of Hollywood.
