Above, the full, jointed Lined Lattice mould, opened out. The base plate is in the middle of the shot.
You can see the plunger to the right of the photo.
Above, a close up showing the base plate - note it is for the square toed version. You can also see the detail of the pattern which is cut into the mould - the moulded design thus appears in cameo (proud) on the finished glass vase.
Above, the top ring which has the shaping for the top of the vase where the "flames" are. ("Flames" are the large flutes around the very top of the vase). Note also the large pins that help lock the mould together.
Above, all the parts are shown - from the left; the top ring, the jointed mould that is now curved round into place and on the right, the plunger.
Above, the entire mould, top ring, base plate and plunger all assembled and locked in place, with the plunger fully inserted.
Above, a delightful touch, the Dugan/Diamond trademark, cut into the metal.
Note that the trademark is not moulded on the actual glass.
